Maintenance Manager

Right now, our team is seeking a Maintenance Manager to provide maintenance leadership, and manage Topdrill’s maintenance team, vehicles, equipment, facilities assets and maintenance programs and processes to the business. This is a critical role that is part of the Senior Leadership Team.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Oversee and lead Topdrill’s maintenance systems, including the continuous improvement of maintenance process and executing long-term strategic plans.
  • Provide relevant, timely and appropriate advice about maintenance matters affecting vehicles, plant, equipment and assets
  • Oversee and manage all maintenance staff and contractors on a day to day basis ensuring departmental tasks are meeting deadlines and expectations
  • Ensure the production and delivery of monthly reports to key clients, suppliers and contractors as required
  • Timely and efficient management of all of Topdrill’s vehicle, plant, equipment and facility maintenance systems/registers/processes
  • Provide leadership and management expertise within the maintenance area and contribute to weekly meetings
  • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
  • Participating as a key member of our existing leadership team and you will need to be proactive in effecting change, developing solutions and delivering on these.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally have 2-5 year’s leadership experience in a comparable role.
  • Suitable trade qualification
  • Great stakeholder management skills including the ability to communicate with and influence people from varying backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to translate complex detail into commercial recommendations.
  • Ideally the suitable candidates will have experience with: Schramm Drill Rigs, Sandvik/UDR Drill Rigs, Hurricane Boosters, Sullair and IR compressors & MAN and Mercedes trucks.
